An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced individuals to join our skilled multidisciplinary teams to deliver urgent and unscheduled primary care to the population of Angus. Practitioners will be allocated to a base within one of four locality areas in Angus.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will be able to undertake a high level of clinical
assessment in order to address urgent care needs. You will play a key role in the
leadership and development of advanced nursing practice within the district nursing service and will participate in the delivery of high-quality evidence based and person-centred care.
Applicants should have or be working towards a post graduate diploma in advanced practice. We may also consider applications for trainee ANP posts and will support the development of individuals to meet advanced practice competencies. This will be supported by a triangulation approach of academic courses, mentorship and clinical supervision. Applicants for trainee posts should have demonstratable evidence of undertaking courses relevant to the advanced practice pathway and be able to demonstrate the ability to study at level 11. Remuneration associated with Trainee posts (Annex 21, Band 7) will be during completion of qualifications and assurance of competencies.
Applicants should be registered on the NMC Register, with extensive post registration experience and will be able to demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and professional practice preferably in an unscheduled care or primary care setting.

Hours of work are: Full Time, but for right candidate part time hours will be considered
