We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Charge Nurse to work in the Care of the Elderly Ward at the University Hospital Monklands on a full-time basis.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will have responsibility for the assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients. In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse/Team Leader, the post holder will have continuing responsibility for the management and clinical leadership of the area including supervision, development and deployment of Staff and maintaining effective communications with patients/carers and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the appropriate information is shared, and patient needs are met.
