Band 6 - Speech and Language Therapist
30 hours per week
We have a post with sessions available within our friendly children’s service:
- Specialist Provision/School Age Complex Needs
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well-organised Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will work closely with health colleagues, partner agencies, parents and carers. You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You will carry a caseload of children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties within specialist provision settings. Clinical support and supervision will be provided by more experienced/specialist staff as appropriate.
You will be part of a supportive team, with good administrative and assistant support. There are excellent working relationships with colleagues within schools and local authorities, and the service has a strong commitment to CPD.
Previous experience of complex needs caseloads would be desirable but not essential.
