NHS Lanarkshire have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Services Pharmacist to join our team

​​​​​​​There are various hours available for this post, please note part time salary for this position will be pro-rata.

The post holder will lead, develop and manage a specialised clinical pharmacy service to a specific or general patient population, including independent prescribing and will manage &  provide leadership to pharmacists and technicians in the  HSCP whilst also providing a highly specialised prescribing service to the extended Primary Care team. ​​​​​​​ The successfull applicant should hold a Masters Degree of Pharmacy or equivalent and be Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. In addition the applicant should have a relevant ​​​​​​​Post Graduate pharmacy qualification (or equivalent)  or equivalent specialist knowledge gained through experience obtained in a primary care or a clinical setting.

The post holder should have a valid clean drivers license and access to a car. 

Experience Required

•Professional, leadership and managerial experience within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently

•Demonstrate competence as a clinical practitioner in a multidisciplinary environment

•Demonstrable evidence of influencing other members of the multidisciplinary team in delivering patient care

Demonstrable evidence of providing a range of clinical pharmacy services

•Demonstrate evidence of service development within a previous role

Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering education and training to healthcare staff

•Experience of assessing training needs
