This post is fixed term for 12 months.

This is an opportunity for a full time Band 3 Health Care Assistant to join the Community Mental Health Team at the Stewart Centre. 
The Team has a supportive structure with clinical supervision and training provided. 
The role requires the applicant to work as part of the multidisciplinary team, participate as a co-worker for people experiencing mental health difficulties. The role provides support to registered staff and other members of the team assisting and where appropriate facilitating therapeutic interventions with patients. Working with patients on 1:1 basis in the community. These activities are unsupervised and there is a requirement to use initiatives to deal with situations or issues that may arise. 
The hours will be Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm (Hours / days to be agreed). Experience of working within health or social care would be desirable and having a current driving license is essential
