Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to the post of Operational Manager (Generic) within the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The Operational Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The post holder will lead, co-ordinate and manage the service efficiently and effectively and will provide a leadership role in the management and operational requirements of the service. The post holder will also provide additional managerial capacity to the management team across identified service areas to support an ongoing process of operational and organisational change. A key function of this post will be the co-ordination and delivery of the recommendations from the Review of Alcohol and Drug Services. This will involve the roll-out of an integrated structure for Renfrewshire which will involve leading in the development and implementation of the Access, Core, Shared Care & Recovery Teams which will form part of the overall Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. Educated to degree level or equivalent and have a relevant professional qualification including alcohol and drug qualification. Considerable (minimum 5 years) experience of working in an alcohol and drug recovery service with a clear understanding of the need for and the ability to deliver a quality recovery focused service. The post holder will require a minimum two years management experience and evidence of post basic study that is relevant to role. Applicants should have a clear understanding of the need for and the ability to deliver a high quality recovery focused service and possess a range of skills including the ability to demonstrate integrity and effective leadership and management skills
