An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Person-Centred Health and Care Programme Team within the Clinical Governance Support Unit as a Lead Clinical Improvement Coordinator.  We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to ensuring clinical care and services irrespective of setting are high quality, person-centred, effective and safe.  You will have responsibility to lead, manage and coordinate a portfolio of improvement initiatives that reflects local, organisational and national priorities for person-centred care. You will work in partnership with other key stakeholders to plan and design improvement approaches to all work undertaken.  You must have strong personal qualities and values to ensure people who use and work in our health and care settings are at the centre of the improvement approach. You must have a commitment to cultivate and sustain good working relationships with key stakeholders across the work remit through open, effective and constructive communications and demonstration of collaborative working. You will be a strong leader with the ability to influence and direct others and manage change across organisational boundaries.  You will be educated to Degree level in a relevant field or be able to demonstrate equivalent in-depth professional expertise, knowledge and experience. You will have experience of working within the NHS, in a clinical governance or quality improvement related field, which has led to specialist knowledge, and skills in quality improvement tools and techniques.  You will work over five days Monday to Friday and will be required to travel across all NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde sites as part of this role.
