Here at NHS Lanarkshire, we are recruiting Internationally for a number of Occupational Therapist positions.


As an Internationally trained Occupational Therapist, you will be bringing a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to the organisation. We also understand the challenges you will face in relocating to Scotland. We are here to support you every step of the way. We know that starting a career can be tough, even more so if it involves moving to another country.

Aim

A key aim of this programme is to maintain the high standards of allied health professionals at NHS Lanarkshire.

For these standards to be maintained, there are certain criteria international candidates must have:

  • Before coming to Scotland, you will need to pass the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Occupational English Language Test (OET).
  • You will need to have a HCPC registration

What we offer

About the role

​​​​​​​As an occupational therapist, you will earn a salary between £26,104 (GBP) to £32,915 (GBP) per annum. This salary is based on a full-time contract (37.5hours per week). If you are working less than 37.5 hours per week, your salary is reduced on a pro-rata basis.

There are a number of positions available across a wide variety of  well-established services, and in our newly developing field of primary care occupational therapy.

The post holder will have access to induction, structured supervision and training and learning opportunities to enable them to grow and develop their clinical practice skills.  They will be supported by an enthusiastic and forward thinking occupational therapy teams who value person centred practice, diversity and innovation.
