An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Speech and Language Therapy Adult Acute Service within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This is a full time post, at Band 6. The post is based within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with a focus on developing skills in H&N cancer whilst working as part of the wider SLT acute team.  The successful candidate will provide input to our MaxFacs and ENT wards at QEUH, attend combined clinics and input into the HNC outpatient pathway, with appropriate support and training. This post is full time although part time working can be considered. There is a requirement to participate in the established Unscheduled Care weekend rota. Public holidays are covered on a voluntary basis.

The Adult Acute Services Division is committed to offering all staff the opportunity to develop clinical skills with a varied caseload, and also offer appraisal, supervision and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development.  It is essential you have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy with current HCPC registration.
