The professional development team are able to advertise a permanent Practice Education Facilitator (PEF) post.

The PEF role supports the learning environment for student nurses and midwives through the provision of support and professional guidance to Practice Assessors and Practice Supervisors, in addition to supporting newly qualified practitioners with the Flying Start programme.

You must currently be recorded as a Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor within your clinical area and have strategic awareness of the nursing and midwifery education agenda.

You must also possess a post-registration degree in a relevant subject.

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload are also essential for this role.

Experience of delivering training programmes and/or undertaking presentations would be desirable. 

This post is Monday – Friday full time (37.5 hours) and a car driver is essential.
