We are delighted to announce that there are exciting opportunities available within the mental health services, in NHS Forth Valley.

We have a Band 6 Deputy Charge Nurse post in Ward 4, Forth Valley Royal Hospital. This post is 37.5 hours within our Specialist Dementia Unit.

Applicants are invited from registered mental health nurses with relevant post registration experience.

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to develop and maintain safe clinical practices, as well as being able to foster effective working relationships across the Mental Health Unit. 

Excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of managing change are essential. Evidence of leadership and managerial development training should have been attained to support this post.

Although the post will be initially based within the Specialist Dementia Unit, there are opportunities for personal development across our inpatient areas.
