Opportunity to join a great pharmacy team in primary care in the South of Glasgow City HSCP.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Team in South Glasgow HSCP. As a senior member of the Pharmacy Team you will have an important role in developing and delivering both cluster working and hub working as well as supporting GP practices and the development of pharmacists within the team. This will involve operational planning, service development and management of band 7 & 6 pharmacists in primary care. This role will involve working with GPs, community pharmacists, HSCP and the primary care multi-disciplinary teams to improve medicines management, deliver excellent patient care and carry out clinics either remotely or in a GP practice setting/ Care Home setting.
This post requires good leadership and management skills including communication, negotiation, organisational and IT skills along with the ability to influence and affect change. This is an opportunity to further your career in Primary Care working with GP Practices, Community Pharmacies, Care Homes and across other care settings.
Experience of working in Primary Care or as part of a multidisciplinary team is desirable.
Independent prescribing qualification and Masters in Advanced Pharmacy Practice or similar or equivalent experience is essential.
Understanding of the management of complex medication queries.
Undertaking staff management / development and leadership is essential.
You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical
