Our team provides an Occupational Therapy service to Oban, Lorn and neighbouring islands on the north-west coast of Scotland. We are an Integrated Occupational Therapy Team who are based in the hospital in Oban and work primarily with the adult population in both in-patient and community settings. We also provide a community visiting service to the inner Hebridean islands including Colonsay, Coll and Tiree and have a small Occupational Therapy team based on the island of Mull. Peer support is provided by our very experienced Occupational Therapy team with a broad range of specialisms and areas of special interest and CPD is fully supported.
This post offers the opportunity for a highly motivated and confident Band 5 to join our Integrated Occupational Therapy Team . This post is rotational and offers experience of working in an acute hospital setting, in community and with reablement clients with the appropriate level of support and training provided.
You should be highly motivated and confident, great interpersonal skills, good communication skills, Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registered, full UK driving licence.
