St John’s Hospital is a modern teaching hospital that provides a comprehensive and expanding range of services, including a 24-hour Accident and Emergency department and a range of specialist services including burns treatment, plastic surgery and paediatrics. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced personal assistant/ office manager to join our small friendly team here in the busy Pharmacy Office. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating, leading, and providing the administrative service to the Acute and Area Stores pharmacy management team. This will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining administration systems to ensure the smooth day to day running of these pharmacy services across the two pharmacy services.

Candidates must have an HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/ Business Administration / other relevant subject. Candidates should be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel. Candidates should have experience of working in a supervisory position ideally with previous staff management. Health Service office experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
