An exciting opportunity has recently arisen within GG&C.  You will be a pivotal member of the Team  who will be responsible for the management and development of the computerised Theatre Management System (Opera) across NHS GGC. 

You will be the first line of support and primary contact for all Opera related issues including software and system maintenance support. To have a comprehensive ability for use of software packages. You will be responsible for staff training in the use of Opera and ensuring operational policies and procedures are developed and maintained within GGC.
Your key skills will include the ability to effectively plan, organise, co-ordinate and take forward local projects, with sound knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures. As our ideal candidate, you will be able to demonstrate assertive and consultative skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.  An ability to deal sensitively using tact and diplomacy in dealing with complex matters is also sought.  We can offer a full induction package and tailored training programme to the successful candidate.  The hours worked will be Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.  Informal Contact: Susan Wilson, 0141 201 5458, Susan.Wilson2@ggc.scot.nhs.uk
