We are currently looking for a full time staff member to join our busy but friendly department. You need to understand and demonstrate NHS Lothian’s values of quality, teamwork, care & compassion, dignity & respect, and openness, honesty & responsibility through the application of appropriate behaviours and attitudes
Responsible for the day to day management of the Generic Recruitment service for substantive Band 2 & 5 Nurse vacancies in NHS Lothian.
Staffing responsibilities, including day to day management of the Generic Team using NHS Lothian policies and procedures.
Representing Generic Recruitment and NHS Lothian at job and Recruitment fairs.
Working along side external parties such as colleges and universities.
Key requirements for the job holder are;
Proficient IM&T software, outlook / group wise email software and Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of NHS structures and organisation in particular the range of specialties and locations across NHS Lothian, and/ or other Health Boards would be beneficial
Excellent organisational and oral and written communication skills. Able to manange own work load and delegate tasks.
Evidence of good customer service, negotiation skills and ability to form relationships with service users.
Ability to prioritse workload in a continually changing and fast paced department.
Must have a genuine interest in recruitment
