An exciting full time permanent opportunity has arisen to within Surgical and Critical Care, Theatres at University Hospital Monklands for a Band 5, Registered Nurse with valid NMC UK registration.
Please note; there are 4 permanent full time positions available.
Post holder is required to have Post Graduate experience in Day Surgery Unit / Theatre.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in all rotational shift patterns, to include nightshift, weekends and on call.
As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
