BAND 6 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – 2 years Fixed Term until 31st December 2024 37.5 hours per week (part time hours will be considered)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy team in East Ayrshire working within the Adult Community Mental Health Team. 

We are looking for an innovative and flexible Occupational Therapist, with experience of working within mental health and addiction services. The postholder will be able to evidence competent skills in the assessment & treatment of mental health conditions and demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans which meet service user outcomes.
 
A working knowledge of the impact of health inequalities, to address the complex health needs of this client group should be evident. 

Postholder will have an understanding of the current agendas influencing services and be able to evidence continuous professional development.

A Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are essential requirements.
