The Specialist Services Administrator is overall manager of the Specialist Services Business Support Teams of the board wide mental health specialist services hosted within Glasgow City HSCP and has overall responsibility and is accountable for the development and provision of the administrative service within these specialist services, ensuring implementation of GG&C NHS systems, to maintain effective support to all services and staff, management team and clinicians thereby facilitating the delivery of effective patient care. This position has direct line management for all business support staff.  The Specialist Services Administrator is a core member of the Specialist Services Senior Management Team and contributes to the agenda and functions ensuring the delivery of key priorities and objectives contained within the HSCP development and performance plan. They will work with other HSCP staff and General Acute Hospitals to ensure the effective discharge of their responsibilities relating to information governance, data protection, freedom of information, incident reports / reviews, non-clinical complaints, office systems.  The Specialist Services Administrator will ensure the provision of accurate, meaningful data, information reports and narrative to support the delivery of mental health services and will liaise with clinical staff to improve the reliability and quality of the data.​​​​​​​  ​​​​​​​Due to the anticipated response to this post, it may be closed before the mentioned closing date noted on the advert, therefore once you start your application form, please complete it immediately.
