Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Key tasks will include but are not restricted to:
Provide administration support including diary management
Monitoring multiple mailboxes and directing emails appropriately
Arranging meetings, organising agendas and papers, and taking notes
Support the planning and organisation of virtual events, such as webinars, meetings, training events, conferences, interviews. This will include working across multiple platforms and liaising with presenters/attendees/facilitators from a range of health and social care organisations. Experience of video editing would also be desirable.
Upload and maintain information on websites.
Have experience of M365 – particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms
What you'll bring
These will include but are not restricted to:
Educated to NVQ/SVQ Level 2 /Higher Grade / HNC or equivalent experience
A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (eg M365 (previously known as O365), MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Relevant experience in a general office environment,for example word processing, administration, secretarial or other areas relevant to the duties of this post
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively
