As a clinical leader you will work across GP clusters with the freedom and authority to act autonomously in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, including prescribing for patients with multi-dimensional problems both within a clinic setting and on home visits. You will be expected to contribute to service delivery by working across all four pillars of advanced practice.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners should level and hold a master’s level qualification which has enabled competence in: Clinical assessment, Clinical reasoning, judgement and diagnostic decision making, Anatomy and pathophysiology, Non-medical prescribing- V300, Leading, delivering and evaluating care, Practice learning/transferable work based learning or equivalent modules. Those wishing to peruse a trainee post will be expected to demonstrate a clear commitment to undertaking both the required masters’ level modules alongside an in house training programme.
