Hours: Full and Part time posts available Location: Neurosciences, Wards 205, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Foresterhill, Aberdeen. Contract: Permanent

The Neurosurgery Unit is looking for dynamic, caring, reliable and motivated Staff Nurses who would like to join our supportive and friendly team.  
Ward 205 is a 17 bedded ward with a Close Observation Unit accommodating 6 beds. We care for a wide range of Neuroscience patients most of which have complex needs, requiring the expertise from our large multidisciplinary team.
It is an area with great job satisfaction allowing the nurse to make a difference within a patients’ journey. The candidate will be supported to develop their educational needs, their surgical skills and will have the option to broaden their neuroscience knowledge by rotating to the Neurology ward.

Candidates must have good communication skills, an ability to plan and prioritise their workload, be flexible to work to meet service demands and maintain a commitment to deliver high standards of person centred care.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a short course in Neuroscience Nursing once they have completed their Flying Start Programme.
