Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week, Less Than Full Time would be considered) post based in Liberton Hub.
Applications are invited for a Specialty Doctor post to work within the Edinburgh Community Geriatrics Service (ECGS). The post is predominantly to support Edinburgh Hospital at Home and is based at the Liberton Hub.
ECGS is made up of our Rapid Frailty Assessment Service supporting home assessment in the frail and housebound, rapid access outpatients for the ambulatory frail elderly, Hospital at Home, community rehabilitation beds and complex care assessment beds as well as supporting other community-based services such as district nursing, pharmacy and care homes.
This post will be to predominantly support the Edinburgh Hospital at Home Service that has access to all these other services. Flexible and less than full time working is fully supported. There is no on call or out of hours working associated with this post other than working with colleagues to ensure public holidays are covered.
