An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent, Full Time, Deputy Head of Linen Services, based at West of Scotland Laundry.
This is a Band 7 position.
It is essential that you have a current UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the West of Scotland Laundry facility in the provision of a quality linen services to NHS Lanarkshire, NHS Ayrshire and Arran and NHS Dumfries and Galloway.
The post holder would have at least 5 years previous staff management experience in a similar environment and would be expected to hold a formal qualification in a relevant subject, eg Technical Laundry Production.
You will have sound working knowledge/experience of legislation as it applies in a commercial/factory environment(eg Health and Safety, environmental, working time directive, etc.) along with excellent Health and Safety knowledge and experience , e.g COSHH, manual handling, fire safety , risk assessments, etc.
Post holder will also be working to and achieving production related targets.
