Our Regional Centres are located at Hillington, Cardonald, Clydebank, South Queensferry, Dundee and Aberdeen. This post can be based in any of our West Regional Centre. NHS 24 also supports Hybrid Working.


This Role: Practice Development Nurse

The post holder will provide professional and practice development support on all aspects of Trauma and will deliver contemporary Mental Health practice across NHS 24 as indicated by the Lead Nurse for Mental Health.

Develop and deliver a stratified plan to meet the requirements of the National Trauma Training Programme. They will provide expert knowledge and understanding to support NHS 24 as a Trauma responsive organisation to consider the current workforce when implementing any service changes which may impact those living with psychological trauma.

Provide visible leadership, coaching and mentoring for all NHS 24 workforce as required.

Key stakeholder in determining requirement for other new services/projects/initiatives in relation to mental health or learning disabilities.
