We are looking for enthusiastic, GPhC registered pharmacy technician(s) to join developing teams to deliver pharmacotherapy services to practices within Aberdeenshire H&SCP. We have opportunities across the area and will utilise remote working to facilitate service delivery by local teams.
The successful candidate(s) will work as members of the Aberdeenshire Pharmacotherapy teams, comprising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The ideal candidates will be able to work well within a team, under direction and on their own initiative. Through on the job support and training successful candidates will gain experience to allow them to undertake a wide range of tasks such as medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries including management of shortage and promote quality, cost-effective prescribing. The role will also provide pharmaceutical support through reviewing of prescribing data, performing audits and implementing changes to prescribing practices.
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background or already be working within GP Practice as a pharmacy technician. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Full driving licence and use of a car is advantageous.
Full time and part time opportunities available - part time generally a minimum 3 days (22.5hours)
Posts will have an agreed base (main place of work) and may involve onsite working in practices, remote working into practices from a base or home working.
Bases and place of work will be discussed at interview.
