A vacancy has arisen within the South Wellbeing Primary Care Mental Health Service for a Band 7 CBT Therapist The post holder will deliver evidence-based psychological therapy on an individual & group basis to individuals with common mental health problems. The post holder will screen referrals and carry out telephone mental health assessments to determine the best level of support to be offered by the service. They will liaise with CMHT services in South Glasgow and Specialist services to ensure that individuals are matched to the most appropriate level of service provision
The post holder will join the established and supportive Wellbeing PCMH Service in NHS GG&C. They will receive supervision from Clinical Psychologists, and have access to support and CPD opportunities. They will supervise low intensity psychological interventions delivered by MDT colleagues, to increase the availability of psychological interventions within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and will provide supervised clinical placements to trainees undertaking formal training towards a CBT qualification.  Contact details for Informal contact Name Dr Fiona Murray, Contact Number 0141 232 7086​​​​​​​
