Working within Specialist Children’s Services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas. You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services. You will be HCPC registered and have relevant experience in planning and providing person centred and outcome based care. A strong culture of support, development, CPD, reflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patient’s experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression. Tier 4 CAMHS are part of Specialist Children's Services, providing mental health services in the community and through the Regional and National Inpatient Units. Working in Tier 4 CAMHS offers the opportunity to be involved with a diverse service user population. Our team aims to offer compassionate care centred in kindness and with the aim of supporting young people and their families through their mental health journey. Our team is the Skye House Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit for 12 – 17 year olds across the West of Scotland based at Stobhill campus and has 24 beds. This role is embedded in the long day shift pattern over a 7 day model to work within the ward environment integrated with the nursing team to support young people in the ward through their daily routine and tasks. These roles are part of a new development within Skye House CYP MH Inpatient unit for AHPS including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Physiotherapy. The roles will be ward based and will involve both a generic and uniprofessional aspect where influencing the culture/framework/environment will be at the heart of the role. They will work in harmony with the other professionals within the AHP MDT team for direct workstreams. We are looking for Band 6s who are keen to work in this different way and can bring a secure background in their professional role and can utilise their skills in competencies in this new way of working. Shift work is required. You are required to be HCPC registered and experience within Mental Health or Paediatrics is desirable.
