NHS Borders would like to offer you the opportunity to join our skilled, dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary Critical Care Team.
The unit is a combined 9 bedded Intensive Care and High Dependency unit which accommodates level 1, level 2 and level 3 patients. We flex beds and patient levels depending on capacity and acuity.
We are seeking two highly motivated, enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurses with at least 6 months acute experience, to provide a high standard of care to patients within a challenging, yet supportive acute hospital setting.
Having a desire to work and develop skills in Critical Care, the post holder will be provided with exciting learning opportunities within both the clinical and educational setting to enable you to continue to develop and grow. You will be supported to complete the Critical Care Initial Competency programme and will be given the opportunity to undertake the Foundation in Critical Care Module.
