We strongly welcome applications for a LAT (Locum Appointment for Training) ACCS Emergency Medicine post approved for training at CT1 level available from 1 February 2023 for 6 months until 2 August 2023.

The Emergency Department in Aberdeen covers both ARI and the RACH.  The centre is a Major Trauma Centre and tertiary ED for the North of Scotland. The Consultant body comprises of 23 Consultants and has varied interests including Paediatric sub-speciality training, Pre-hospital Medicine, Sports Medicine, Hyperbaric Medicine, Toxicology, Research and Major Incident Management. 

Acute Care Common Stem training is a collaboration of acute care specialities with the aim of producing multi-competent junior doctors able to recognise and manage the sick patient and who have the complementary speciality training required for higher speciality training in Emergency Medicine, JRCPTB speciality, Anaesthesia, and Intensive Care Medicine.
