This is a Fixed term post for 18 months.

Glasgow City ADP are looking to create a new multi-agency data intelligence hub to enable a more informed partnership view of the impact of alcohol and drugs in the city.  Staff are being recruited by the NHS Board and Police Scotland to work alongside existing data support services within Glasgow City Council and wider ADP members to create and maintain the Hub. The Hub is expected to provide relevant and timely information for the ADP to allow more enhanced coordination and prioritisation of our collective resources to tackle areas of greatest concern. Hosted by their employing agency the staff will work as a virtual partnership team, each providing complimentary data expertise.  The ADP vision is for the individuals, families and communities of Glasgow to live free from the harms of alcohol and drugs, to be treated with dignity and respect, able to easily access the support and recovery they seek. Team members will be part of this vision, working with all ADP members and across the partnership planning structures.  Team members need to enjoy working in partnership with others, and all the complexities this brings, as well as being driven to provide high quality intelligence on alcohol and drug issues. The ADP is committed to involving those affected by alcohol and drugs, and has an active recovery community. Team members need to share this commitment, integrating community voices and qualitative sources into the hub in its development.   Improved public health surveillance will be crucial in enabling the ADP to predict and track trends, interventions and outcomes across all aspects of business.  Daily tasks will be to collect, analyse, interpret and report data from all relevant sources necessary to support the strategic goals of Glasgow City ADP, the  Intelligence Hub, GADRS & wider stakeholders at local and national levels
