We have a part time vacancy for a Registered Nurse/ Operating Department Practitioner to join the Woodend Theatre Suite.  These posts are as a scrub nurse or anaesthetic nurse.

We are an elective orthopaedic theatres suite and we cover a wide range of orthopaedic surgical procedures.   This is from the neck to the toes and tumour surgery also.   Our shift pattern is usually 4 days over a 5 day week 8-6 full time.

Candidates must have good communication skills; have an ability to plan and prioritise their workload, work flexibly and collaboratively in response to service demands, and demonstrate a professional commitment to the delivery of high standards of patient centred care.

You should be a team player who has experience within the theatre and anaesthetic areas, however training will be given.  Ideally you will have completed the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit Core Competencies, or be willing to achieve this development after appointment, if you are successful with an anaesthetic post.   We will provide orientation, mentorship and support and welcome you to a dynamic clinical environment where no two days are the same.
