The West Lothian Hospital at Home team are looking to recruit two Health Care Support Workers to join their team within the REACT Hub at St John’s Hospital.

We are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for supporting the safe delivery of patient care at home.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to -

  • Venepunctures and Cannulations
  • ECG recording
  • Weighing patients
  • NEWS recordings and updating TRAK records
  • Delivering and collecting equipment and prescriptions
  • Maintaining sufficient stock levels
  • Assisting clinical staff to review patients at home
  • General housekeeping and ad hoc tasks

The successful candidate will be joining a forward thinking, multi-disciplinary team who have a passion for integrated working.  Good oral and written communication is essential.
