NHS Tayside is delighted to welcome applications from either Final Year Nursing Students or Newly Qualified Practitioners (NQPs), who are looking forward to receiving their Nursing Registration later in 2023 or have recently qualified.

You will have the opportunity in your application form to indicate your preferred site / specialty. You can advise of up to three preferences, with one being your most preferred. Should you give two or three preferences, please be aware of and prepared for the fact that you may be offered your second or in some cases third choice should we be unable to accommodate your first choice.

Applications will be subject to a stringent matching process by Senior Charge Nurses and Line Managers. The decision making will consider your learning, skills, experience and the values that you have described within your assessment form.

Each of our clinical teams has identified the positions that are a priority for their service and you will be offered a post which considers your skills and experience and the needs of the service. Once the matching process is complete, you will be contacted to advise and discuss your job offer.
