An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within Maxfax / Head & Neck cancer Surgery within the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The Department of OMFS/Head & Neck Cancer services provides exciting pioneering OMFS / Head & Neck  procedures and care as part of regional services for the West of Scotland.  We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic staff nurse to join our team.  We have one, 21 bedded ward which provide Emergency and elective MaxFax and Head & Neck cancer surgery as part of the Neuroscience & OMFS Service to the West of Scotland.  All staff will be supported by our dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator for Neurosciences & OMFS, and undergo an in-house training competency framework and university accredited courses to support your development.  You will work 12-hour shifts to cover the 24/7 service.  You must be a registered nurse. Experience in the field of OMFS / Head & Neck Surgery nursing is preferred, but not essential.  You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).​​​​​​​
