We are looking to recruit a dynamic, and well motivated dietitian with good communication skills to join our dietetic team in Aberdeenshire.

You will be part of a team of the community dietitians and health care support workers, working across all clinical areas such as weight management, paediatrics, diabetes, undernutrition, and GI conditions, but will also work as part of the wider health and social care team to deliver services across the partnership. Services are provided to patients in clinics, community hospitals, care homes and their own home, although more recently we have delivered many services remotely using telephone and Near Me. You will also have the opportunity to deliver group sessions (remotely where possible) to patients and participate in training as required.

This post will also contribute to the implementation of the Healthier Futures Diabetes framework.  As part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team you will undertake developmental and clinical elements of this work.

Our service recognises the value of ongoing CPD, robust clinical supervision system and working in a whole system way.
We participate in undergraduate student training, taking students for their B & C placement. We work with dietetic colleagues across Grampian on shared issues and initiatives such as clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient centeredness.

Delivery of a high quality dietetic service is high on our agenda.

You must have access to a car and hold a full driving licence.

There may be a requirement to work over 7 days.
