Senior Heath care Support Worker Band 3 Permanent post.37.5 hours per week.
Acute Sector Surgical Division 3. Orthopaedic Pre-operative assessment Clinic Woodend.
A vacancy has arisen within the Orthopaedic Pre-operative assessment Clinic at Woodend Hospital for a Senior Health care Support Worker, to join our pre-operative assessment team. The successful candidate will be assisting nursing staff in assessing patient’s fitness prior to orthopaedic surgery. Venepuncture skills, ECG recording are desirable but not essential, as full training and in house competencies will be available .Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00 with a rotation to work within Department of Scheduled admissions (Ward 8 Woodend). Part time hours would be considered.
