We are looking for an enthusiastic health professional, who has experience of working with older adults with mental health illness and/or cognitive impairment.  The service provides support to adults over the age of 65 years and any age with cognitive impairment.

This exciting post will involve assessment, care planning, risk assessment, implementation and evaluation, in partnership with the client, family and carers.  You will be an active member of an MDT working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists and wider allied professionals.  You may be supervising students and support workers on occasion.

As a Band 5, you will have an identified mentor/supervisor to support your professional development. You will hold a professional registration and work within your code of conduct at all times.  A driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purpose, required.  If appropriate, this post can offer a relocation package.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly in accordance with service requirements.  The role will also include being part of the Place of Safety on-call service for the escort of detained patients to an identified place of safety/inpatient unit.
