CAMHS Medical Secretary (ECAT – Enhanced Care Assessment Team)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable individual to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We are flexible for the post holder to work at either the Links Unit, City Hospital, Aberdeen or The Rowan Centre, Glassgreen Centre, Elgin, dependent on applicant preferred location.
The post holder will work closely with ECAT (Enhanced Care Assessment Team), providing dedicated support which includes handling a numerous complex calls and correspondence into the service from service users and professionals.
The post holder will be supporting the administration of our CAMHS urgent referral pathway in addition to supporting with other service wide tasks.
We are looking for a self motivated person who has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with people working in a flexible way. The successful candidate will work autonomously but should also be a confident team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to prioritise their daily workload to meet service demands.
The post holder will be working with new systems and processes and be expected to contribute to the development of these as part of their role.
The post holder will be required to attend daily departmental meetings and take an action note.
In addition, applicants should have good organisational skills and be confident in their use of IT systems.
This post is full-time, worked Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm to provide cover during the CAMHS core hours.
