We are looking for a motivated, hard working person to join our Physiotherapy Stroke Rehab Team currently based in the in-patient Stroke Rehabilitation Unit in Buchanan Ward, Biggart Hospital.
As a Physiotherapy Assistant you will be an invaluable member of the team, supporting physiotherapists to carry out neurological rehabilitation with patients who have complex physical rehabilitation needs and playing a key role in supporting our patients to live as active, independent lives as possible
You will also have a small delegated clinical caseload of non-complex patients under the guidance of trained staff and you will undertake various housekeeping tasks including stock control, equipment and therapy room cleaning duties and admin tasks.
Experience in a care or hospital setting is desirable.
Hours: 30 hours, Monday to Friday. Start and finish times negotiable.
