An opportunity has arisen to work within the Pharmacy Department joining our team which provides a wide range of pharmacy services to patients in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

This post is full time, permanent and requires you to contribute to the provision of a Pharmaceutical Service to patients and staff by receiving, storing and issuing goods in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. You will be based within the Pharmacy Stores department, receiving goods from manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors including medicines, controlled drugs, renal supplies, medical gases and other items supplied by pharmacy to ensure prompt processing and availability.

You will be fully trained in all aspects of the role and be supported by the current team. 

This post carries a contractual commitment to work on a shift system (which includes a commitment to cover 7 days including weekend and evening). Post-holder will also be required to participate in our Public holiday and Departmental rotas.
