Organisational Development and Learning Advisor

About the Organisation: 
NSS as a Non Departmental Public Body (NDPB) provides a diverse range of Strategic Business Units and Support functions for the NHS in Scotland. Processing and Payment of £2 billion in primary care payments on behalf of NHS Boards.  NSS employs over 3000 staff (comprising medical, nursing, technical, scientific, management and administration staff, located at 17 sites across Scotland and associated revenue costs of over £500 million).

The Post: 
This post is within the NSS HR team Corporate Support Group for an experienced Organisational Development and Learning Advisor who will be responsible for delivering a range of Learning & Development services across NHS Scotland Assure, National Procurement and National Services Division. Currently the priorities are for wide training needs analysis and skills assessments. Additionally there will be other programmes in the workforce plans as required.

The Candidate:
All members of the team are currently use Microsoft Teams for communication, collaboration and delivery of events. The post holder will require strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrable expertise in learning and development, digital learning including delivering events in Microsoft Teams or equivalent, combined with a supportive and collaborative style.  The person must have the necessary credibility to secure confidence of colleagues in NSS in the wider teams in the business in order to effectively deliver a professional service which adds value to NSS and supports the delivery of the NSS Workforce plans.

Meridian Court, Glasgow - please note, we will move from our Meridian Court premises in Summer 2023, new location still to be confirmed.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
