Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.

This post is based at Caladh Sona CCU, a six bedded residential care home in Talmine, on the North Coast of Sutherland,

The role is responsible for providing personal care and support to service users and to support care staff to meet the needs of older people in a residential care setting as required by legislation.

Applicants should have an interest in working in a care setting, previous care experience is advantageous but not necessary as support and training will be provided to the successful candidate.

This post is on as and when required basis including working day or night shifts in accordance with service requirements.

Applicants should be willing to undertake SVQ 2 and any relevant training with support given to assist with achieving their qualification.
