Fixed term contract: 2 years (in the first instance)

Band 6 (£35,522 - £43,286), 37.5 hrs

     

Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager to be based at Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) in NINE Edinburgh Bioquarter. Edinburgh CRF provides a streamlined service and state of the art facilities to enable investigators across Lothian to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely. ECTU, part of the Usher Institute within the University of Edinburgh, is a registered UKCRC Clinical Trials Unit which provides an infrastructure to develop, design, plan and deliver clinical research studies across a varied portfolio of clinical specialties in Edinburgh.

The specialist knowledge and close working relationship between Edinburgh CRF and ECTU provides the necessary independence, regulatory oversight and managerial infrastructure to support the Quality Assurance Manager in their role within ECTU.

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic full time Quality Assurance Manager to join the CRF and ECTU teams. This highly valued post supports ECTU by developing and managing their quality management system.

It is expected that candidates will be qualified to degree level, with a sound working knowledge of the regulations governing clinical research and proven experience of developing and implementing quality systems in a clinical research environment.
