Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS) is looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of the new Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Rapid Response Team. This new Team will be responsible for ensuring rapid, responsive support, with no barriers access to treatment, consistently across Renfrewshire.
Within the multi-disciplinary team we are looking to recruit a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker for a period of two years.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, formulation, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care using a strength based recovery focused approach to care that proactively involves the person and optimises self-management. The post will be key in delivering a fully integrated service which forms part of the overall structure of ADRS.
Applicants should have a clear understanding of the need for and the ability to deliver a high quality recovery focused service and possess a range of skills including organisational, self-directing and self-motivating and effective written/verbal communication skills.
To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the RGN/RMN, within a community setting. The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required. The ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team; effective written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment is essential.
