Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability and old age.

This post is responsible for providing day centre support to vulnerable people including people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, people with physical disabilities and people with co-existing dementia in the day centre or community under the support/ supervision of senior staff.

The post holder will support the service users in collaboration with the day centre workers and management by following and liaising with day centre workers inputting into the care plan for those individuals, as appropriate and work in a person centred way which promotes the quality of life and maximises independence for all service users.

Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting. Educated to SVQ level 2 (Health and social care) or willing to work towards .
