This is a full-time permanent post.

We are now remobilising Elective Orthopaedics following 2 years of disruption and are looking for a Band 5 SN addition to our team in ward 26/27. We have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, whilst working in a busy environment and we are looking for a caring, hardworking colleague to join us.

The Orthopaedic Unit in Glasgow Royal Infirmary has 17 consultants working across a range of Orthopaedic sub specialties and we have a strong multidisciplinary team focus.
You will require excellent communication skills, the ability to anticipate and plan care to a high standard and the ability to work well in a team.

We would welcome applications from nurses with recent, acute hospital experience, including those recently qualified. 

Hours are 37.5 hours per week, working a 12-hour shift pattern over 7 days, including night shift and Public Holidays.
