Scotstown and New Dyce Medical Practices
Salaried GPs 4-8 sessions per week
(Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates)
Scotstown Medical Group is an innovative, forward-looking GP partnership with practices in the Bridge of Don and Dyce areas of Aberdeen, as well as a rural branch dispensary in Udny Station, near Ellon. Opportunities now exist at our Scotstown and New Dyce practices for enthusiastic GPs to grow their skills with both city and rural patients as well as help develop new models of care. In Bridge of Don we are a well-established undergraduate educational and GP training practice, giving the group the resources and experience to support the GP in their role.
Our practices operate a telephone triage model with no e-consults. Our duty doctor is supported by other GPs, advanced nurse and paramedic practitioners and physician associates in addition to a wider multi-disciplinary team including practice-based pharmacists and access to the Aberdeen city visiting service.
We are now seeking to recruit salaried doctors for 4-8 sessions per week on a permanent basis across our sites. Applicants should be proactive, effective communicators who relish the prospect of contributing to GP services as part of our multi-disciplinary team. Mentorship would be available for newly qualified GPs
We offer a competitive salary package plus golden hello subject to eligibility. For those who meet the necessary requirements to join the NHS performers list in Scotland but require a visa to continue working in the UK, the practice is registered with the Home Office as an A-rated licensed employer able to offer visa sponsorship.
Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practice is essential. Starting date is negotiable as we are willing to wait for the right candidates.
