This is a fixed term post of 12 months.

The shift pattern for this post is 9 am – 5 pm, Mon – Fri

We are seeking applicants for a Band 7 CBT Therapist to join Renfrewshire’s Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS) in NHS GG&C.

You will contribute as a specialist senior clinician in the planning and delivery of a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy service for adults within Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services who present with a range of common comorbid mental health problems. In addition, you will contribute to the provision of specialist education, training, supervision and consultation to other health care professionals and students. You will work within professional guidelines and the overall framework of service policies and procedures. You will receive supervision by a team Psychologist and work closely with the wider MDT.

Successful applicants must have completed a postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which is recognised and accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy, and relevant professional training to degree level or equivalent in a core profession which includes basic psychotherapy training, i.e. Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Work, Occupational Therapy. Significant experience of working within a multi-disciplinary setting within Adult Mental Health within the NHS is essential. The post requires the ability to travel to bases across the Board Area.
