You will provide a comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative service to the Consultant Psychiatrists, Locum Consultant Psychiatrists, Foundation Year 1 and Year 2 Doctors (FY1 & FY2) and Specialty Trainees within North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership.
You will be educated to ‘O’ Grade / Standard Grade Credit / National 5 level in English and Maths and possess an HND in Business Administration as well as a relevant medical secretarial/medical administration and a recognised IT qualification. Relevant knowledge of medical terminology and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) are essential. You will also have advanced typing skills with proven secretarial experience working at a senior level, minute taking, electronic filing systems management and electronic diary management experience. Experience of working in an NHS environment with an understanding of NHS interdisciplinary networks are desirable. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential. You will have the ability to work unsupervised whilst using your own initiative and have experience in managing own workload as well as being able to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising your workload and having the flexibility to adapt to change and last minute demands.
Hours: 18.75 per week working Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 12.45 pm.
Car driver is desirable as you may be requires to travel to other sites/bases within Ayrshire.
This post is Fixed Term or period of Secondment for 12 months.
